BSNL WiMAX internet users can now pay their bills online, so no need to wait for the bills to arrive at home and go and queue in line for paying it. When it comes to online system, BSNL has a very lousy system because users need to access and login their two different websites for checking usage and paying their bill. BSNL could have integrated both in one portal. However good thing is that both sites work well and bill payment is smooth and usage details are accurate and very detailed.
How to check your WiMAX Usage:
- Log on to www.data.bsnl.in
- You will need to enter your portal user ID and password. If you don’t have these details then you can contact BSNL and they will create your account and give you the portal ID.
- Once you are logged in, click on the “View Your PostPaid Usages” link.
- Select Service name that is WiMAX, your account number which will appear in drop down and lastly the month of which you want to see the usage.
- Click the search button to see the usage details
How to pay your WiMAX bill online
- Log on to http://portal.bsnl.in and click on “Postpaid GSM/WiMAX” button on top menu. You will be prompted to login. Please note that the login is NOT same as data.bsnl.in so if you don’t have this portal account then you will need to create one.
- Create account by clicking on the Signup link. Fill all the details asked correctly. The mobile number you provide at signup will be used to send you SMS reminder of bills.
- You will also be asked of two important things, the WiMAX number and your account number. To fetch these details pick any of your old WIMAX bill. At the top of bill there will be: WiMAX UserId : WBXXXXXXXX@bsnl.in – the number “WBXXXXXXXX” is your WiMAX number.
- Account number will be mentioned just above total amount due. It is a 9 digit number.
- After creating account login to the portal and then you will be able to view your outstanding bill and pay it using your debit card or net banking.
