If the webpage fits perfectly in the whole browser window without any need of scrolling then all you need to do is press “Prt Sc” button on the keyboard and the screenshot of the whole screen gets saved in clipboard and you can crop out the unnecessary part from the image by using any image editor. Or you can press “Alt + Prt Sc” key to only capture the active window.

However when the webpage is long, there is another way I am going to tell you which will allow you to take screenshot of full page and save it without any use of image editor. Here is that method:

  1. Open the website you need to capture in Mozilla Firefox
  2. Press “Ctrl + Shift + M” key
  3. Now select the resolution which suits the website best.
  4. Press the camera icon and your webpage screenshot will be saved in download folder in PNG format.

Taking full page website screenshot is needed when we want to show a preview of website template we are working on to the client or to showcase our website in an online photo gallery or flash gallery where we cannot use the actual HTML template.
